We’re back this Saturday with more fabulous quality fresh produce – including grapes, corn, rock melon & watermelon, blueberries, delicious stone fruit & suburb mangoes. Choice Valley Cheese arrives this week with their fabulous array of yoghurt, cream & cheeses.
Visit the country without leaving the city…Subi Farmers Market is a vibrant community facility providing fresh, nutritious food, for the benefit of our health, our kids and the environment.A fun, village atmosphere with live music & a place for kids to play, provides the perfect setting for the farm fresh produce available. You’ll find everything you need for your weekly shopping.
Produce comes from all over WA, from as far away as Albany, Nannup & Canarvon but also has many local stallholders baking or producing delicious food.
Also on offer is a fantastic range of breakfast & morning tea options – with a tasty variety of cakes, cinnamon buns, healthy smoothies & of course, great coffee courtesy of Luke – Subi’s renowned barista!
You’ll find everything you need for your weekly groceries as well as some specialty foods. Gluten-free bread & cakes, additive-free preserves & pickles, minimal spray, tree ripened & organic produce – picked fresh – make shopping at Subi Farmers Market a tasty & healthy choice.
With an emphasis on organic, bio-dynamic produce & the support of sustainable agriculture, we are determined to make a difference globally with this local event.
There is a stong ‘minimal plastics’ policy & the ‘reduce, re-use, recycle’ mantra is evident with recycling stations & bio-degradable packaging in use.
Egg cartons & other packaging can be returned weekly to their source & eco bags & trolleys are available. Bike riding & walking are also encouraged.
Demonstrations from chefs, health experts & gardening gurus are held throughout the year to showcase some of the wonderful produce WA has on offer & to educate on food & environmental issues.
