Markets growing each week

October 29th, 2009 by Sally Lewis

With happy, satisfied customers already becoming regulars after only 2 weeks, we’re off to a great start. Many people have told us they’ll be shopping every week & several residents come along simply to soak up the atmosphere & enjoy this great community event. With music, juggling & story-time under the tree all on offer – there’s something for everyone.

The Subi Farmers Market is becoming the meeting place for locals & visitors alike & welcomes everyone. With an emphasis on fresh produce – there are now 7 stalls offering a great range of great fruit & veg – with more on their way as we get into the new season….

As we approach summer, more stalls will be added: next week stoned fruit arrives & an Egg & Bacon Roll Stall will be cooking breakfast all morning…mmm…I can smell it already!

Spencers Brook Farm are soon ready to start at Subi – with their fantastic range of organic pork, lamb & beef.

German Sausage is soon to be added to the menu at the Nock’s Farm Produce Stall.

Sunnydale Dairy are adding to their great Pastuerised only milk with a range of cheese – of the same great quality. Pastuerised only milk is documented to be much better for your health – & this will be further improved with glass bottles coming soon!

Cambray Sheep Cheese are back due to popular demand this week – make sure you taste their fabulous cheese.

With several stallholders selling out of various lines – make sure you get there early to enjoy the wonderful range available. There will be something different each week to keep you inspired & entertained – soon we’ll have chef’s demonstrations, gardening & health experts showing the benfits of seasonal eating/planting/living. Look out this week for the kids’ Bubble Bucket – another free activity. Come down & enjoy what Subiaco has to offer – bring friends & family – even your dog can sit in the shade with drinking water at the ‘dog parking’ spot.
