James Lush will be capturing all the action of the next Celebrity Market Chef Cooking Challenge – with the ABC’s resident chef Dale Sniffen cooking off against renowned WA Chef Don Hancey. Come & taste the dishes & give your verdict – using only fresh ingredients found at the Market – each contestant will have to produce tasty dishes in a race against the clock & each other…let’s see what they come up with!
Dale Sniffen has been a free lance chef for more than 25 years cooking everything from Italian to Japanese dishes. He now presents cooking classes, creates recipes & has a range of tasty cooking spices. Dale enjoys teaching people the simple pleasures in discovering something new in food and cooking. “I live by the rule ‘one must discover a new food once a week’”, says Dale, “and a chef is only as good as their last dish”. Don Hancey has been recognised as a true Australian Food Ambassador having cooked and presented Australian produce and wines in the USA, UK, Turkey, Cambodia, Singapore, Germany and Italy. Don is a great supporter of Farmers Markets having founded the Margaret River Regional Producers group and managed the first Margaret River Farmers Markets. He also was involved as a consultant in the Great Southern Regional Branding Project which crystallised into the Albany Farmers Markets.
